Master of Music in Choral Conducting

The Master of Music in Choral Conducting is a rigorous 和 highly selective course of study. Through experiential seminars, intensive coursework 和 research, you’ll develop advanced analytical, 历史, 语言, 技术, theoretical 和 vocal skills.

Choral Conducting MM students conduct a number of resident ensembles, 和 they present two recitals with the 研究生 Conductors Chorus 和 Recital Chorus. 研究生s have gone on to conduct community, 专业, school 和 university choirs across the country.

All students are required to take diagnostic examinations in aural skills, 对位法, harmony 和 music history prior to the first term of graduate study. Students who opt not to take any or all exams prior to the first semester of study must complete remedial coursework within the first academic year.

• Choral Conducting Seminar I, II, III 和 IV;
